What AiScrubber Processes

AiScrubber is designed as a browser-first privacy tool. Text entered into the workspace is processed locally in your browser. The project does not include a backend server, database, user account system, or server-side analytics endpoint.

Local Storage

To help you recover accidental tab closures, AiScrubber stores workspace input, sanitized output, vault mappings, and optional feedback in your browser localStorage. This data remains on your device and can be cleared by using the workspace reset flow or clearing browser site data.

Downloads

Exported TXT, DOC, PDF, encrypted vault, and protected vault PDF files are generated in your browser. You are responsible for storing, sharing, and deleting downloaded files safely.

Third-Party Libraries

The workspace loads client-side libraries from CDNs for PDF export, encryption, and visual effects. These libraries run in your browser and are not given application secrets because AiScrubber does not use frontend API keys.
